HAPPILY EVER AFTER + LOLA

Did a cat really crash a bride’s big day?! Well, I’ll get to that in a minute but, I thought how fun would it be to see some behind the scenes of a wedding party all through the eyes of Instagram Stories?! I have to admit I have been super MIA recently with social media. The truth is social media is A LOT of work and when you are running a small business, performing all the services yourself, handling all the bookings, traveling for weddings, scheduling, and clients… social media (for me) falls to the back burner. Social media is all about the ‘perfect picture’, the ones that look effortless, the ones that have the perfect lighting, with the perfect pose but, truthfully they are staged most of the time and that just isn’t me or my personality. What I loveeee are the raw moments, the silly moments, the moments when it’s all said and done, you look back with your friends and laugh your butt off. Which is why I decided to do a blog post of the wedding from the eyes of the people who were there!

Now on to the FAMOUS cat..drum roll please… Lola! Lola is basically a celebrity and yes she crashed the wedding IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE! Lola is to Lauren what most dogs are to their owners- their everything! Lola goes everywhere with Lauren and without a doubt she was going to be at the wedding and of course, she had to be dressed to the 9! Lauren specifically had a custom wedding dress made just for Lola from her own wedding gown fabric for her wedding! Just like gals have their dogs as ring barriers, Lola was the guest of honor and the most boojaayy gal there 🙂

A huge shout out to my girl Lauren of WellKept– thank you for being my bride! You and your bridal party were such an amazing group of girls and I am so thankful I got to be a part of your big day!! Now without further a do (blurry, unedited pictures and all!)… THE WEDDING!
